It is that time of year when many of us want to have a good sort out. I know my husband has some huge projects. He wants to get down to some garage organization as we have piles of storage boxes in there but have no idea what is in them. He has decided that he is going to put some boards in the attic to start with. Then he is going to take the boxes out of the garage and sort through them, hoping to get rid of most of the things to a charity shop. Then he is going to put what is left in the attic leaving a lot more free space in the garage. Then he will have a go at some garage organization where he aims to move the logs and kindling for out log burning stove into a more accessible space and then clear some space so that we can more easily get to the belfast sink and light that we have in there. He aims to get rid of his bicycle that is in ther because it is no good and then organise his tools so that they are easier to get to. This should mean that we have room to store bags of rubbish, recycling and things that we are keeping to give to a charity shop. This will free up some space in our understairs cupboard too as we have quite a few boxes which can go out there. I am a little concerned about putting too much weight in the attic as it is not really very supportive. I would really like to have a suspended floor put in and some plasterboard walls to make it into a much better storage space. Once I get the money together, I expect that I will do this.
